Boasting its own unique, laid-back Jamaican sound since the 1960s, reggae music is much more than just rhythms worth relaxing to. The political messages infused in the genre make devotion to reggae a strong statement of individual views and values. (Down at the Bottom of the well) does all of this in its own unique way, pay special attention to the lyrics and the drum beats. This record has rekindled my love for the reggae beat.
